Summary. WiiM Volume is free to download and use. It is not open source. You may not redistribute, modify, repackage, reverse-engineer, or sell it. WiiM Volume is an independent project and is not affiliated with WiiM, Linkplay, Tidal, or Apple.

End User License Agreement

This software (“WiiM Volume”) is made available free of charge for personal and commercial end-user use, subject to the terms below. By downloading, installing, or using the software you agree to these terms.

1. Grant of license

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use unmodified copies of WiiM Volume on Mac computers that you own or control.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  1. sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the software or any copy of it;
  2. redistribute, mirror, repackage, or publish the software, in whole or in part, on any website, store, package manager, or other channel;
  3. modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the software;
  4. decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this restriction;
  5. remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
  6. use the software's name, icon, or branding to promote any other product or service.

3. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. VK Apps retains all right, title, and interest in and to the software, including all intellectual property rights. No source code is published, and nothing in this license grants you any rights to the source code.

4. Updates

The software may automatically check for and install updates. Updates are provided at the discretion of VK Apps and are governed by this same license unless accompanied by different terms.

5. Third-party / trademark disclaimer

WiiM Volume is an independent, unofficial utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Linkplay Technology Inc., WiiM, Tidal, Apple Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. “WiiM”, “Linkplay”, “Tidal”, “AirPlay”, “macOS”, and any related names, logos, or trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive and interoperability purposes only (nominative fair use).

6. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL VK APPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGE TO HARDWARE, AUDIO EQUIPMENT, OR DATA.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On termination you must stop using the software and delete all copies in your possession.

9. Governing law

This license is governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
